Skin keeps resetting nearly every time I launch minecraft

So basically, whenever I launch minecraft, my selected skin changes to an alex. This happens both on iOS and Win10 edition. It says at the top when I launch the app "Failed to load character (number). You can reload it from your profile.) I have reinstalled the app on both devices but the problem is still occuring.

 

This happens many, many times when I launch minecraft either OS. Hopefully you will be able to fix this. (the screenshot I attached is from Win10 edition.)
