Illagers sprint slowly on carpets

When a illager walks on any blocks they have their normal speed, but when an illager tries to walk or sprint on carpets their speed will reduce.
Try putting a Vindicator on carpets and let it chase a villager, the Vindicators speed is really slow compared to its normal sprinting speed.
