My custom skins wont load and it wont let me choose a skin from one of my bought skin packs from the marketplace. Its constantly loading

Whenever I try to go into minecraft it always tells me failed to load character slot 1 and so on. Then when i try and reload them it never works no matter how many times i do it. This has been going on since 4 am and there has been no change and ive tried everything on the list of things to do. None work, I know im not the only report about this and I really would love to get back to playing with my skins. I hope you guys are working to fix this in the next update.
