Minecraft NOT loading after updating to the Nether Update.

When I updated Minecraft from 1.14 to 1.16, And then tried to open Minecraft, It does not load. the loading screen shows up for a couple of seconds before the whole application closes down. I have tried to reset Minecraft from the settings, Also uninstall and then reinstalling, But nothing works.
