cant change/make a username

So in the settings i was messing around with colored text and i just pressed a whole bunch of random keys and i realized that i couldnt type anything in the username bar anymore. Im not sure what I did or if this is fixable but because my username is permanently blank i cant join servers. I hope this makes some sense :/
