The snow at snowy biomes keeps stacking after a snowfall

I was playing in a snowy biome, and after the last update, the snow layers after a snowfall kepps and keeps growing, it is ruining my village, and the biome itself, please fix this, the snow layer used to stay thin, now it doesnt stop growing.
