Controls bug when moving

Basically what happens is when I move around my Minecraft world for a while, still holding the forward arrow, my character stops. Even if I'm just holding the up control my avatar just stops moving. If I let go of the up key and put my finger back on it, it works as normal until it does it again. I haven't had this problem on my Kindle Fire HD 6 so possibly its a bug on Android 4.4.2 . This is also a very annoying bug and I hope something is done to fix this issue

EDIT: I can also confirm the bug persists on any 0.12.x version

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini by the way
