honey comb not going into inventory

been having a  issue collecting honeycomb when using sheers, honeycomb looks like its been collected makes the sound and normal visual of honey being collected but will not be in inventory or  it ends up on the ground unable to pick up so far only once out of dozens of tries have i been able to get honey comb in my inventory
