issue with marketplace

I was browsing some of the emotes. I clicked the back arrow and then I saw the last emote I looked at was on the tab that showed all the emotes that I owned. But, I never purchased it. 

It appears that players could use emotes without paying for them.  If players are able to use the emotes without paying then Microsoft/Mojang is losing out on the money that they could be making.
