Villagers, sitting pets, sheep and llama despawned after travelling +2000 blocks away for more than 30 minutes.

I have a village with villagers, pets (tamed cats), and sheep. I and my friend were playing on lan multiplayer, we were both on Xbox One. We traveled +2000 from our respawn point (the villager) for more than half an hour. When we came back to the village all the villagers had disappeared, so had the sheep, pets, and other entities that shouldn't despawn.

 

Edit: I just discovered that all my minecarts are missing too, it seems this bug removes ALL entities. My paintings also disappeared.
