Bedrock Update Map Glitch

Minecraft on our ps4 was just updated to the 1.16.1 version. The map on our world will randomly show an image of one of the Steves and will show the wrong location on the map. We'll walk in one direction, but the locator on our map says we're somewhere else. Don't know how to fix. Help!
