0.11.1 Ladders Giving Me Fall Damage

When my brother joins a world he dies every time he goes down a ladder. I'm not sure whether this happens only on multiplayer, whether it only happens on ipod 5 or whether it is only for iOS 8.3. Please Fix! Thanks for reading,
