using /kick command with identifiers gives you a weird "syntax error'

i tried making a ban command with /tag command and i used /testfor @a[tag = banned] in a repeaing always active command block then used /tellraw command to tell all players with a tag banned that they're banned and then i put a command block where it would kick everyone with a tag banned with a reason "banned" and i even tried without the reason and i still get the same "syntax error" and i think everything is right. check the attached screenshots..
