Minecraft Edu is not compatible for windows10

when i try to log in it says "please check your internet connection and try again"

also i troubleshoot  and it says compatible with windows8 - windows95
(note: the version is 1.12.60 for some reason it does not pop up
note: the problem is only on this computer)
