Microsoft account log in failed on PlayStation 4

When trying to sign into my Microsoft account, it keeps showing the "Failed to login" screen and stating that something has gone wrong. This keeps happening over and over, even after closing the game and relaunching it. This is a continuous issue I've seen with others as well as myself.
