Can't join my worlds

Whenever I try to join any world or server, the game won't let me. It just keeps buffering forever. This has started happening ever since the 1.16 update was implemented. I am very sad since I can't access any of my worlds or play with friends. I need you to fix this, or else Minecraft will just be dead weight taking up storage space on my PC
