Pancape didnt work on elytra

I just using pancape (new cape) and fly around with my new elytra. But when i show my elytra to my friend, they said theres no elytra, but i can still fly and the elytra still in the armor set. I dont know if this a bug or no. but if this is a bug, please fixed it.
