view bobbing broken in xbox one bedrock

ever since the nether and animations with capes update, my setting for view bobbing to be turned OFF broke. no matter what if i flick view bobbing on and off again it still shows view bobbing as ON in-game. ive relaunched minecraft many times and even reinstalled it and nothing worked. its hard to play now since view bobbing is distracting for me.
