Inventory disables RTX

Context: I have set my keybinds so that ;/: is my inventory/crafting key. I have also taken resource packs from world templates and copied them on my own world.

Problem: Whenever I open my inventory, RTX will completely turn off or on. This forces me to open my inventory twice in order to keep RTX running. On a side note, my character is invisible.

CPU: Intel Core i9-9900KF

RAM: 16.0 GB

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
