Survival map turned into a Creative map.

My Survival map turned into a Creative map. It's a survival map that has been played on for a year, but with the latest update a few days ago, the map has suddenly turned int a Creative map. I open the inventory, and have EVERYTHING. Can't open chests, make items, etc.
