Minecraft Sound Glitch

When ever I walk/run on grass, sand, wool, and gravel a tearing static grass sound comes up. The sound travels back and forth between the head phone ears! I tested it in a realm and a normal creative world, and both had the same sound. Please tell how to fix it!
