Save and quit error

In minecraft pe, there is a serious save and quit issue. This problem was faced in previous versions as well, the problem was whenever I saved and quit my world it lost the latest progress. After reopening the wo4ld I would have lost upto several days before my last save. This is very painful please fix this issue.
