Possible duplication with armour stand

In the nether I put a netherite pickaxe on a armour stand in creative and when I pressed LT the pickaxe stayed in the armour stands hand and I got a copy of it that I am now unable to get rid of I have not been able to replicate this again or with anything else I also can’t move the pick axes in my inventory. I am not sure if this works for survival
