Unable to connect to WiFi even though my WiFi is working fine

For the longest time I've had problems with Minecraft pe. This time it's whenever I go on marketplace it loads and loads and eventually tells me I can't connect, same thing when changing my character. My WiFi is working fine and I've exited out of the app as well as deleted it and reinstalled it.
