Bedrock PS4 Multiplayer is Broken

Every time I try and play with my friends on the PS4 Edition of Bedrock, I either get 'Connection Timed Out', or, the game is so slow that it takes a whole minute for it to register i hit a block! I have had this Issue since the launch of this version, and I have tested other games, and the connection Is fine! This needs to be fixed, especially because multiplayer is such a large part of the game, and Its stopping me from having fun..
