I had the same problem in 0.11.0, but I'm currently too busy trying to get someone to pay attention to the fact that 0.11.1 won't even startup on my device to worry about it.
I cannot reproduce this on Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 5.0.1 MCPE 0.11.1 in single player creative mode (for flying) in 1st or 3rd person view.
Please provide more details to be able to address this issue. In the meantime, I'm resolving this as "Awaiting Response" from you.

This bug is fixed since the D-Pad is changed.
Cannot reproduce this works just fine to me.
