Chunk reset after 1.16 update

So I recently updated to 1.16 and was playing on my single player world. It has been updated for a couple of days now but last night while I was building a zombie piglin gold farm I went back to my house to see half of it was gone and the chunk looked to be reset to the default world. Further down the chunk was a glitched out area where I could see through the ground. Is there a way to get the chunk to revert back or at the very least fix the corrupted part so I can rebuild? I didnt make a backup that I know of
