Can't join my friend's world!

I can't join my friend's world on the PS4.

We already tried everything (both reinstalled, both of us created a map and tried to join, both got PS+, Multiplayer is activated). When you want to join it says: creating new server... but nothing happens. We've waited for like 10 minutes or longer.

Please fix that, really wanna play with my friend. 

PS: I can join his world on the old edition with no problems.
