LAVA REMOVES NETHERITE

Hi! today enter my realm like any normal day, look for netherite, improve my sword. then I fell in lava and died, and my tools burned, which shouldn't happen, they would have to bounce off lava but it didn't. which is why I lost my netherite sword in lava forever. is this a bug? help me please
