Crafting recipes aren't showing ingredients

Since the update, I no longer see what ingredients are needed for an item in the recipe book. It's just all blank in the creation box until I actually make something. Then it shows what was used to make that item. But if I then hover over the item it shows nothing again. 

 

If I use a mouse to click on an item, it shows me what is used. But I don't use a mouse on a regular basis to play on my XBox. I use the controler. If I click with the controller, it makes the item. I'm sure there are people that already know what the recipes for every item is. I am not one of them.
