minecraft claims my xbox account is a child account and will not let me access my friends. it was not a child account the day before

yesterday it worked fine but today minecraft claims that i am a child account and will not let me access my friends. my actual xbox account doesnt say anything about it and was never invited to a family account by a parent. i also contacted xbox about this but i am not sure what platform the bug is from .
