I cannot switch the difficulty of my realm (Xbox Bedrock)

Whenever I try to switch the difficulty of my realm, it shows that the difficulty changed but when I exit or look at the difficulty again it reverts back to normal. This is only an issue on realms because I tried on single player and it all worked well.
