Most controls stop responding after a short time with Oculus

After updating to 1.16 and playing the game for some amount of time ( ~1 minute to 1 hour ), my Oculus controls become partly unresponsive. The joysticks, A and X buttons continue to work as well as the Oculus system menu button, but the game menu button, all finger trigger buttons, and Y and B buttons stop responding! The game menu button is very problematic as it is the only way to save the game. (The ESC key does not work.) I have resorted to waiting 5 minutes for the auto-save to happen before forcibly quitting.

Update: I just tried running it again and this time the controls do not work immediately. I can only move and look around but not interact with anything.
