Ghast fireball is slow or stops completely

I know that a similar issue has been reported but it has reappeared in 1.16

To create the bug:
1.get the ghast angry at you
2.before he fires the fireball shoot an arrow at ghast
What you expect:
Ghast will fire at you, going at it's normal pace
What actually happens:
The fireball goes slow or completely stop
