Syncing user data

Hi I seem to be having a problem loading up the game as it gets to the main title screen it starts to pop a box up saying syncing user data this may take awhile I have been sat for atleast 2 to 3 hours now waiting for it to do such syncing and it still there if I cancel I'm just stuck on title screen with no title or options to choose from
