Fresh download of PE. Can't open world. Nothing can resolve the issue. Very dissappointed daughter.

I am having this same problem. Just got a new tablet – ValuePad VP112-11, running Android 4.4.2. MC:PE downloads, installs, and opens. However, If I try to create a world, whether in Creative or Survival, I get the same error message: "'My World' can't be opened." The manufacturer of the tablet says there may be a compatibility issue between Android and MC:PE, but I haven't seen nearly enough people having problems with it for this to be the case. PLEASE HELP!!! I have also tried using Mine Sync to import my saved worlds, to see if this would bypass the "Create" option, but no luck. NOTHING will open. Otherwise, the interface looks normal. Just can't actually PLAY.

What does it say when you try to open the world?
It says "My World can't be opened".
same here. Using BTC Flame with 0.12.1 of MCPE
"<world name> can't be opened"
Got the same issue with ver 0.13.0 on the BTC Flame..new story version works though...at least Christmas won't be so bad
