Stutter

The new stable version was laggy when I first joined. It did not seem to be fixed when I loaded a fresh world and my CPU regularly peaked out while the measured framerate dropped to around 40 as well as the mouse responding some of the time. I'm using a i7-9700 with 8 cores

 

To reproduce:

Start a new Survival world

Run in a direction to load new chunks
