items get stuck on a pressure plates despite there being ice under it

I don't know if this is a feature or a bug but items now get stuck on ice when there is a pressure plate on it (Haven't tested buttons). The items just seem to stop getting pushed when going over an ice block with a pressure plate on it (see screenshot). Also, this seems to cause a lot of lag (don't know if it's the items or something else)
