Can log into Microsoft Account, cant invite or play with friends.

What is happening is i cant really play with friends or in this case my cousin. He isnt on the same wlan but im trying to play with him on mcpe which we are both on. Basically i am trying to invite him so it shows up on his friends tab but it wont and below the invite button it says my Microsoft Account isnt working and its logged out or something. Basically, i have tried rebooting my device and coming back on, restarting minecraft and coming back on, logging out and back into my Microsoft Account, and none of them worked. Yes my WiFi is a little slow at the moment as i have Virgin Media, but before the beta it was just working fine. Hoping you can fix this and yeah thanks!
