Addons tend to break on player state change

Animation controllers on the player's .json file in the behavior packs is removed when the player dies or rides a mob

 

How to replicate?

1.Download an add-on that adds weapons that are used via right click or just adds an animation controller to the player's behavior .json file

2.Test if they work (at first they will)

3.Ride a mob or kill yourself

4.Use the item afterwards a (the add-on has a 95% chance of breaking)

5.The Item should not work anymore afterwards and that is the issue

 

The only current way to fix it is to log off and log back in to the world to reset the addon
