Treasure Maps Flicker Non Stop

I have found over 40 treasure maps in survival mode. Every single one, no matter what i do or how far i travel in various ways, the maps only flicker. They flicker at various rates, all so fast that the maps are not visible or able to be used at all. I found 3 treasure maps within close to 500 blocks of one another and all 3 do the same constant flickering.
