Sometimes mobs sink into the ground if you spawn right above the ground (where you're standing)
P/S: The bug will be morecommon in the slime. (big and medium one)

Hostile mobs will ignore you on peaceful mode. But you can still spawn them. This is not a bug.
I would need more info on the slime behaviour. What happens exactly, I can not reproduce this issue.

Even more common if you spawn them on the side of a block! Confirmed on Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Android 4.4.2.
