I bought the minecraft windows 10 edition and it came with another version that is not the current one

the other day I bought the minecraft windows 10 edition and it came with an old version which is 1.15.9.0 and after asking for a lot of places I reinstalled it and it was installed with 1.14.0.60, according to the version that it will have to have is 1.16.0.63.
please help me pay for the game and want to play with my friends.
