Villager Didn't pickup food even when the mobgriefing set to true

So my villager seems to not picking up any food even when mobgriefing set to true. Yes i did set it to false before but when i set it to true again my villager doesn't seems to understand it and yes i did prove the mobgriefing is set to true by spawning bunch of sheep and blowing up creeper.

Help please.
