Can't feed animals

Can't feed my cattle, sheep or turtles. When you have food in your hand and pull the left trigger, it doesn't feed the animal.

This maybe linked to buttons being reassigned in default' mode. The 'B' Button no longer drops items in your hand, but you need to push the 'D" Pad down.
