We found a weird item

So we made a nether portal and went to the nether to search fir the new biome. And when we found the one of the new biomes, we went to break a warped log from a shroom and suddenly, my friend end up getting a weird item. It looks like a spawn egg, but its in a weird position. It cannot be dropped, used for crafting or anything else, this item also cannot attack players. He then screenshots it and send it to me via whatsapp.
