I spawned in the void

Yesterday I got off Minecraft normal just got done fishing, I get in today and it says you have fallen out of the world respawn or exit to main menu I chose respawn started walking around didn’t see my stuff at all, I looked in the chat logs and it just said you have fallen out of the world, I went out of it without saving and I kept spawning back at my bed without my stuff
