Soul Fire creates a weird line

I was decorating my nether house in Minecraft and I was so excited to decorate it and I wanted to make a chimney and I thought Soul Fire would be cool but I saw a problem whenever you go back a little bit and move left and right you see a very weird line on top-right or top-left on the top of soul fire.
