Image freezes in game or when loading

hey, I have problems with Minecraft. the problem is that the image freezes when playing. Sometimes it does before I start playing, when loading, and sometimes it freezes when I am playing. There is no pattern in when it happens, it varies. It may, sometimes help to restart an relaunch game, but most times, that's just to delay the problem. It freezes almost every time I play.
