Chunks empty for guest player in multiplayer world

I have 2 android devices, And friend borrowed my tablet so we can play minecraft together. But when he joined, He saw in his screen that some chunks did not load but on my phone screen nothings wrong. so is this bug? He even fell in the void. Pls fix this
